IV Local Save Folder
You could set up shareX to not upload to the web (under "After Capture Tasks" -> "Upload Image to Host")
In any case, you want to have your images to save locally before going to the imgur, because imgur were to shutdown your account or imgur were to delete all its images, you would have no backup. Same applies to any other images hosts.
Navigate to "APPLICATION SETTINGS". See reference image
Go to "PATHS".
- Use a custom screenshots folder. I put mine in dropbox\shareXscreenshots
- Subfolder pattern. I organized mine by year / month. See reference image of what it looks like in my file explorer.
If you upload many things to imgur.com I suggest using YEAR-MONTH-WEEK convention instead. Because everytime you open that folder it gets really slow if you have many gifs and images inside
